  • Job Description

    Perform the job in the Finance Accounting & RM department as:
    o Overseeing operations of the finance department, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for these to be met.
    o Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to send to boards of directors, management, Head Quarter, and statutory bodies.
    o Preparing plan & budget reports, annual forecast, rolling forecast and performing variance analysis; Preparing group package to send to Head quarter for Group consolidation reports.
    o Maintaining Recording, classifying, and summarizing financial transactions and event accurately in
    accordance with accepted local accounting principles and International financial reporting standards (IFRSs) using MEGA-ERP system.
    o Coordinating the development, implementation and monitoring of MEGA-ERP system.
    o Collaborating with Hong Kong office and Headquarter in Japan
    o Handling tax issues with tax office and audit related matters with external audit team to ensureappropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
    o Prepare declaration of Foreign contractor tax (FCT), Value Added Tax (VAT) and Corporate Income Tax (CIT) returns; checking daily import/export Tax payment.
    o Establishing and implementing accounting rules and procedures, finance and risk management rules to ensure the Internal control of the Company is in place.
    o Handling Review Project, Internal audit carried out by Group Internal Audit team.
    o Providing financial information and interpreting the implications for business performance and funding needs;
    o Preparing and monitoring cash flows to arrange loans with Sumitomo Corporation Capital Asia Pte
    Ltd. and to ensure funds are efficiently used.
    o Providing financial and taxation advice on business schemes, plans and operations
    o Providing training for staff and corresponding with various other departments, discussing company
    plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.

    Risk management:
    o Perform risk management and control management over operations’ effectiveness, financial reliability and compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
    o Preparing credit application and monitoring credit limit for customers to reduce credit risk.
    o Preparing and monitoring foreign currencies position limit to reduce forex risk.
    o Liaising with bank and arrange forward contracts for risk hedging.

Qualifications

  • Requirement


    {MUST}

    - BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
    - Having CPA certificate or equivalent certificate.
    - At least 10 years of experience in accounting department for Manufacturing/ Trading in FDI companies.
    - Proven experience as a Financial Manager/ Senior Finance & Accounting Specialist.
    - Fluent in English: Upper-Intermediate level
    - Strong experience in Tax, especially VAT and VAT refund experience is preferable.
    - Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
    - Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being use
